Meat Your Persona: The Return

We’re delighted to announce that Wellcome Trust have committed to fund a new touring version of Meat Your Persona. This engagement activity appeared in Oxford’s Westgate Shopping Centre in 2019 (see video here), but we will now be working with our talented partner, Liminal Space, to create a larger travelling version which will visit five different cities in the UK in 2020 in order to share our research findings and to engage even more people in non-judgemental conversations about their meat-eating. 

Applications are therefore invited for a Public Engagement and Events Manager to deliver the Meat Your Persona tour. 

The successful applicant will manage the full tour, from planning to delivery. They will be onsite at each of the five locations around the UK, training local staff members and engaging with the general public. They will lead on media activity on the ground, liaising with the press, and collaborate with The Liminal Space on installation requirements and maintenance needs.

You will have experience in public engagement, producing pop-up activations and managing relationships with venues. You should also have expert organizational skills, a proven ability to problem solve and multitask, and excellent communication skills. An interest in the subject matter is also preferred.
